Apple launches a new environmental protection plan

Today, environmental protection has been paid more and more attention, because it is closely related to human health and life. As a world-famous IT company, apple is also contributing its own strength to environmental protection. Recently, Apple announced a new plan: free recycling of all used Apple products to reduce environmental pollution caused by the manufacturing and use of Apple devices.

According to the associated press, Apple announced that it would recycle all the old apple devices for free and bury them in the ground, which is part of Apple's response to the "Earth Day" public welfare activities. Apple works with third-party sales channels to compensate Apple store gift cards for devices with resale value. For devices that have no use or resale value, the purpose of Apple recycling is to landfill them and prevent environmental pollution caused by electronic devices.Apple's efforts to move toward a more environmentally friendly business model, it said on its new environmental responsibility website. For example, 94% of the energy in Apple's data centers and corporate offices comes from renewable resources, such as solar energy and wind energy. "What Apple wants to do is to use all of our innovations and all of our expertise to make the planet safer and the environment better," said Lisa Jackson, vice president of Apple environmental initiatives.
